
Ceramic Plunger
Ceramic pump components include plungers, bushings, and mechanical and chemical sealing rings that excel in abrasion-resistant, high-temperature, chemical, and metering applications.
The main materials are ultra-pure alumina, zirconia, silicon nitride, silicon carbide. Compared with metal plunger, ceramic plunger solves the problems of corrosion resistance, poor abrasion resistance and short service life, and its abrasion resistance can be more than 5-10 times that of the metal plunger. Moreover, the corrosion resistance of ceramic solves the problem of corrosion of the plunger, which extends the service life of the plunger greatly, so that the plunger pump can ensure the normal operation in any harsh working environment.

Corrosion resistance
Strong resistance to strong acids (such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid), strong alkalis, organic solvents and high-temperature vapors, avoiding the common rust and corrosion problems of metal plungers, suitable for chemical and electroplating industries.
High Temperature Stability
Zirconia ceramics can maintain performance at 1000°C, while metal plungers tend to soften and deform at high temperatures, making them suitable for high-temperature hydraulic systems or heat treatment equipment.
